Responsibilities
- Transport packages and documents to designated addresses in a safe and timely manner.
- Inspect delivery vehicles before and after each route for cleanliness and mechanical issues.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, including verifying delivery details.
- Utilize handheld devices to accurately log deliveries and update tracking systems in real-time.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure a secure delivery environment.
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately if applicable.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License (or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to solve problems on the spot.
- Proficiency with smartphone technology for navigation and route planning.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
