Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to residential and commercial addresses throughout Cleveland and surrounding areas.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of items while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and handling feedback graciously.
- Inspect the vehicle for any damage or mechanical issues before and after every shift and report maintenance needs.
- Handle package handling with extreme care to ensure items arrive in pristine condition.
- Maintain an organized delivery route using company-provided GPS and navigation tools.
- Complete all required daily delivery logs and paperwork accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class D) and a clean driving record free of major violations.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Access to a reliable personal vehicle or ability to use a company-provided van.
- Smartphone with data capabilities for real-time navigation and communication.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of the Greater Cleveland area and local geography.
