Responsibilities
- Safely deliver food packages, restaurant orders, and retail items to customers within designated Chicago neighborhoods
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer information through our mobile app
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions and resolve delivery concerns promptly
- Follow traffic laws and adhere to safe driving practices at all times
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely arrivals
- Assist with warehouse operations when not on delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 1 year experience)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Smartphone proficiency for app-based order management
- Strong time-management skills and punctuality
- Basic knowledge of Chicago geography and major routes
- Reliable personal vehicle (or willingness to use company vehicle if available)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- 18+ years of age
