Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods across Los Angeles County
- Plan efficient routes while adhering to delivery schedules and traffic regulations
- Load/unload cargo with precision and verify shipment contents
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Communicate delivery status to dispatch and clients proactively
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and CDL compliance standards
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of LA metro area geography
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic math abilities for delivery documentation
- Pass background check and drug screening
