Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods and materials on schedule
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation to optimize delivery times
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure mechanical safety and compliance
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly during shifts
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle maintenance
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
