Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food, packages, and retail orders to customers across Austin
- Verify order accuracy before departure and maintain temperature control for perishable items
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and address concerns promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries and fuel efficiency
- Maintain clean, organized delivery vehicle and report maintenance needs
- Process payments accurately and complete delivery documentation
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and customers
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably and navigate stairs/curbs
- Smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication apps
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation to Austin work location
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of Austin geography preferred
