Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food, packages, and retail items to residential and commercial locations across Chicago
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication through our mobile app
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure cleanliness/maintenance standards
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize transit times
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle delivery-related inquiries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with warehouse operations when not on delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery app navigation and communication
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
- Basic knowledge of Chicago neighborhoods and major roadways
- Reliable transportation to our Diversey Ave hub
