Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and parcels to customers in a safe and timely manner.
- Obey all traffic laws and adhere to strict safety regulations at all times.
- Inspect vehicle for cleanliness and perform basic mechanical checks before each route.
- Handle packages with extreme care to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Update tracking information accurately in the delivery management system.
- Collect payments or obtain proof of delivery when required for specific routes.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class D or equivalent) and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with local roads in Ohio.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional, friendly demeanor.
- Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable vehicle with valid insurance and registration.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and tracking apps.
