Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food, packages, and retail orders to customers across Washington DC
- Maintain accurate delivery records and update order status in real-time via our mobile app
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and resolve delivery issues promptly
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels, and compliance with traffic regulations
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency
- Communicate proactively with customers and dispatch teams regarding delivery status
- Assist with warehouse tasks when not on delivery routes (e.g., order assembly)
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 1 year experience)
- Reliable personal vehicle with valid registration and insurance
- Smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery tracking apps
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service communication abilities
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Basic knowledge of Washington DC neighborhoods and traffic patterns
