Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods on scheduled routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and delivery
- Complete electronic logging (ELD) and delivery documentation accurately
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse staff
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (company-provided)
- Basic knowledge of Jacksonville metro area and Florida highways
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
