Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and goods to customers across Austin
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries and minimize fuel costs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate delivery status updates via mobile app
- Assist with warehouse tasks when not on delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Reliable personal vehicle with valid insurance (minimum coverage required)
- Smartphone with data for delivery app navigation and communication
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions (if applicable)
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and evenings
