Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional and local routes within and around San Diego.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic logging device (ELD) records in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery times and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service excellence.
