Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, or merchandise to customers within designated areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals while adhering to traffic regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and delays
- Maintain clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience in a delivery or commercial vehicle role
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate stairs/deliveries to multiple floors
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis neighborhoods and major roadways
- Smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and delivery tracking apps
- Reliable transportation to and from shift location
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
