Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and food orders to residential and commercial locations across Houston
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for high-value shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure cleanliness of delivery vehicles
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to maximize delivery efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions and resolve delivery issues promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to update delivery status and address exceptions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or equivalent
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Houston area streets and neighborhoods
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Reliable smartphone with GPS capabilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and tip documentation
