Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and merchandise to customers within designated timeframes
- Maintain a clean, organized delivery vehicle and conduct pre/post-trip inspections
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly interactions and accurate order confirmations
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to maximize delivery efficiency
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Report delivery issues, delays, or customer feedback promptly to management
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Reliable personal vehicle (or willingness to use company vehicle if available)
- Smartphone with GPS capability and data plan
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management skills and punctuality
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order verification
- Friendly demeanor and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
