Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations throughout New Orleans
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
- Adhere to traffic regulations and GPS routing protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Assist with loading/unloading of packages at distribution center
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of New Orleans metropolitan area
- Smartphone proficiency for GPS and communication apps
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be available for evening and weekend shifts
- Background check and drug screening required
