Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations across Virginia Beach
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and update tracking systems in real-time
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures and inventory management
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Virginia Beach area and GPS navigation systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication skills and customer-focused attitude
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Smartphone with reliable data connectivity required
