Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and goods to residential and commercial locations across New Orleans
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures as required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure cleanliness/maintenance of delivery vehicles
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery status and resolve any issues
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and delivery time windows
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Reliable personal vehicle or ability to use company-provided vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of New Orleans neighborhoods and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and punctuality skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery apps
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
