Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food, packages, and retail items to customers across Los Angeles metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness
- Optimize delivery routes using provided GPS technology to maximize time efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions, including order verification and issue resolution
- Manage inventory of delivery materials and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and food safety regulations
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery app usage
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet tight delivery windows
- Excellent communication skills and friendly customer service demeanor
- Reliable transportation to and from designated shift locations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
