Responsibilities
- Execute dedicated OTR routes within the Saint Paul metropolitan area and surrounding regions
- Safely operate commercial vehicles while adhering to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Ensure timely and damage-free delivery of specialized freight
- Participate in continuous safety training and process improvements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year OTR or dedicated route experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading/unloading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent time management and route planning skills
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and transportation software
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team communication
- Flexibility for early morning starts and weekend shifts as needed
