Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks over long distances on dedicated routes.
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS) and Electronic Logging Device (ELD) compliance.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and prevent mechanical issues.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time and in excellent condition.
- Maintain accurate driver logs and complete necessary paperwork accurately.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1 year of OTR (Over-the-Road) driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record with no recent DUI or major traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and cargo handling procedures.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and communication.
