Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles over long distances in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (E-Logs) and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to strict safety policies and traffic laws at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel.
- Represent the company professionally at all times, including client stops.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current and valid DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of DOT/HOS regulations and cargo securement procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
