Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers over long distances.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of duty status (DOT compliant).
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to work part-time hours and travel overnight.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
