Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight on a dedicated regional route with predictable scheduling
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and comply with all DOT regulations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and delays
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of cargo and proper documentation
- Adhere to safety protocols and defensive driving practices at all times
- Complete required paperwork and post-trip inspections
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 1 year OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of California roadways and delivery zones
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for weekend and evening shifts as needed
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting abilities
