Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks on dedicated Southeastern routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Load/unload freight using appropriate equipment while following safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to HOS regulations and company safety policies
- Operate electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation systems
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate with maintenance team
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screening
- Familiarity with Florida highways and Southeastern corridor
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and communication abilities
- Flexibility for early morning starts and weekend shifts
