Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on dedicated routes between Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) compliance
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatchers for timely pickups and deliveries
- Ensure proper freight handling and secure loading/unloading procedures
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Build strong relationships with warehouse personnel and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with tanker or dry van endorsements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong navigation skills with familiarity in the tri-state area
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Flexible availability including nights and weekends
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
