Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELD)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Build strong relationships with Austin-area clients
- Represent Austin Logistics Solutions with professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient with ELD systems and route navigation
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for weekend/evening shifts as needed
- Austin residency preferred (within 50-mile radius)
- HAZMAT endorsement a plus
