Responsibilities
- Operate company tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes with consistent weekly schedules
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Safely load/unload freight at customer locations with proper documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delays or route changes
- Represent company values through professional conduct and customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year OTR or regional driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Basic navigation skills with familiarity with Virginia/Carolinas geography
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips (2-3 nights/month)
- Excellent time management and communication skills
