Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to strict delivery timelines and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques
- Maintain electronic logs and submit paperwork on schedule
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year OTR or dedicated route experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of California roadways and regulations
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting abilities
- Strong communication and customer service aptitude
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
