Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods on assigned routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage delivery schedules and adjust routes for efficiency
- Submit accurate delivery reports and mileage documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (or willingness to obtain through company training)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including early mornings
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
