Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated routes within California
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules while prioritizing safety
- Represent Premium Logistics with professionalism at all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR driving experience with dedicated route background
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong familiarity with California highways and San Jose area
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (required)
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining communication standards
