Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on local delivery routes within the Charlotte metro area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork in accordance with company and DOT standards.
- Provide excellent customer service while delivering goods to local businesses and residents.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
