Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on schedule, ensuring cargo is handled with care.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documents.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel at each stop.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols to minimize risk.
- Report mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately to fleet management.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to read and understand maps and delivery orders.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and documentation purposes.
