Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with all DOT and company regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of cargo securement and safety procedures.
