Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks or tractor-trailers) for local deliveries
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries in the Charlotte region
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable truck driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass mandatory background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
