Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel during pickups and deliveries.
- Ensure the cargo area remains clean and organized throughout the shift.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the required endorsements (Class A or B).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) or DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, road safety, and cargo handling.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
