Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local and regional routes
- Load/unload freight with precision and adhere to safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adapt to dynamic schedules and optimize route efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Familiarity with Virginia Beach metro area routes preferred
