Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods within Georgia
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Ensure timely and damage-free delivery of freight to designated locations
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients during transit
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo when required
- Report mechanical issues and maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia CDL (Class A or B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Georgia roadways and DOT regulations
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation
- Flexible availability during daytime hours (20-30 hrs/week)
