Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently for local deliveries in the Tucson area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement according to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery records, including electronic logging device (ELD) compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse staff to ensure high satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proof of current medical certification (DOT physical) and drug screen clearance.
- Strong knowledge of local Tucson geography and delivery routes.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late afternoons.
- Basic mechanical skills for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
