Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain accurate vehicle logs (DOT logs) and complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients and dispatchers.
- Adhere to strict safety standards to ensure the protection of cargo, yourself, and the public.
- Uphold a professional appearance and maintain a clean driving record at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license (Class A preferred for some routes).
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT drug screen clearance.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience in a commercial setting preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment screening.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the road.
