Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses throughout the Tampa metro area.
- Verify recipient signatures and maintain accurate delivery logs.
- Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle with care.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery truck.
- Provide exceptional customer service during every interaction, answering questions and resolving issues professionally.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or delivery incidents to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to use handheld scanning devices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable access to a smartphone with data capabilities for route management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
