Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class B commercial vehicles for local deliveries within San Francisco
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and manual handling techniques
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and traffic regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with DOT regulations
- Assist with warehouse duties when not on delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid California Class B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Knowledge of San Francisco streets and Bay Area geography
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer literacy for digital logging systems
- Exceptional customer service orientation
