Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) safely and efficiently on local delivery routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and dollies as required.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including DVIRs and delivery receipts.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and pickups.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with the required endorsements (Class A or Class B).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a mandatory drug screen and criminal background check.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with local San Diego roads and delivery zones is a plus.
