Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across San Diego County
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while ensuring on-time arrival
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Comply with all FMCSA regulations, HOS requirements, and company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams
- Document delivery exceptions and maintain route efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of San Diego County roadways and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to safety and detail orientation
