Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local freight deliveries
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adapt to changing delivery routes and schedules
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Knowledge of San Diego County roadways
- DOT medical certification current
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Availability for weekend/evening shifts
