Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to transport goods to designated locations.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MVR).
- 3 years of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Clean driving record with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy items and performing manual tasks.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as required.
