Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and legally on regional delivery routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring safety and proper handling.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and vehicle paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Current Medical Card (if required by state regulations).
