Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, straight trucks) in NYC metro area
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Deliver goods to commercial and residential locations on time
- Complete accurate pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Maintain clean driving record and vehicle maintenance logs
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Navigate complex urban routes efficiently using GPS technology
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of NYC streets and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings/weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
