Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for freight transport across Reno and surrounding areas
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments
- Verify cargo documentation and secure loads according to safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of Nevada roadways and weather conditions
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
