Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Transport goods to designated locations in New York and Florida on or before scheduled delivery times.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and cargo documentation.
- Practice defensive driving techniques to ensure the safety of cargo, fellow drivers, and the public.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with the appropriate endorsements (e.g., Hazmat, Tanker).
- Achieve and maintain a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) with no serious violations.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong commitment to time management and customer service standards.
